Artist's Comments

Sitting with nothing more to add to the enclave argument the Ugly Duc takes a stance of awe as the cold eyes of the ballerina boars in the being. There is no disagreement now. It is obvious that this stumpy-legged little pretender couldn’t possibly be a match for the stunning graceful and altogether sinister beings that float through the fields.
Defeated the Ugly Duc sits, dwelling on this fact and never dreaming that its one folly maybe believing that this pride in beauty is all one could possibly hope for. That proud and vain is the only way one must feel to be considered impressive.

I know far, far too many people like this. She might only consider the advantages she has, like arms (unlike the ballerinas, who grasp nothing). Lovely job, kiddo!

well shows why the lower part of their faces are covered.
Reminds me a bit like H.P. Lovecraft stuff.

Never imagine your self to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to be otherwise!

Thank you.

Haha. Thats a pretty tight twist to follow.
Thanks very much angel of compressed grammer. x

Despite their 'precieved beauty' the ballerinas are cold looking, cruel, and over all they look the same. The true sheep of the world, hiding their faces behind the mask, conforming to what they think 'others' believe is true beauty, and unable to grasp the concept that it is ok to be different. Even though Duc in phyiscal form is unpleasing according to the worlds standards... the eyes are the window to the soul, and his eyes are most beautiful.

I hope that makes sense ^^ It's sad when I don't even know if I make sense. A very thought evoking piece Patra, me loves! :D
